I am really sorry for not posting for a long time.
But don't worry. I am alive and well.
For the past year, I've been immersed in researching and creating various types of "generative AI" such as chatGPT, neglecting my painting work and new attempts at running the Sapporo Programming School.
Now that I have finally settled down, I will start painting and presenting new works more and more!
I finally finished a new piece today.
The title is "Acanthus Flower". For the meaning, please look up the mean of acanthus flowers.
This will give you a clue to understanding this work, but of course this is only a part of the overall meaning of this work.
As I always say, the meaning is something that each viewer can create for themselves through free imagination and interpretation.
As usual, the materials are soft pastels, colored pencils and paper, but this time, instead of the Mermaid paper I usually use, I used the world's most famous pastel paper, Canson's Mi Tanto paper.
The reason is that I have a large stock of Mi Tanto paper that I own, and I need to use it here soon! That's why.
However, the pastel ride is long and short, but the durability and strength are of course almost as good.
Now, this work is small, measuring 73.4cm x 53.8cm, half the usual size<. The production time is also shorter, from one-fourth to one-fifth. The reason is not just the small size. Inspired by the Matisse exhibition I saw in Ueno last year, I spent a year developing a drawing method that allows me to create more sophisticated and refined works in a shorter time
I will sell pieces of this size to those who wish to purchase them
